Springster Rules
Thanks for visiting Springster! We are Girl Effect and we run Springster. We are a charity, based in England, and we work to empower girls like you. Our address and other information can be found at the bottom of these rules.
Please make sure you read and follow these rules. They aren’t the kind of rules to stop you from having fun - they are here to make sure everyone is safe and using Springster the right way!

THE RULES
We may make changes to these rules from time to time. Please make sure you are aware of the most recent version by checking back here. We may also change Springster, including temporarily shutting it down, in order to improve your experience. We will do our best to notify you in advance, but this may not always be possible.
Springster is intended for people between the ages of 13 – 24. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use Springster, as it will not be appropriate for you. If you are under the age of 16, please make sure you check with your parent or guardian first before using Springster.
When you use Springster, we will collect personal information from you. Please read our Privacy Policy to find out:
● What information we collect;
● How we collect it;
● Why we use it; and
● How you can find out more information.
There may be information about health available on Springster. This information is not a substitute for medical advice. If you have any specific questions or concerns about your health, please see a doctor or other healthcare professional.
Springster is a community, which means that as well as the content we make available on Springster, you may provide your own content. This can include comments, blogs, tweets, podcasts, chats, and audio-visual files. Before you give us content, please make sure:
● You are happy to share the content with Girl Effect and the other users of Springster. This is particularly important if the information is personal;
● If you mention others, you have permission to share their information on Springster. This is particularly important if any of the information is personal
● The content is your own work and you have not copied it from anywhere else. You must have permission to use other people’s content (for example, songs or video);
● The content does not contain any lies or incorrect facts; and
● You are happy for us to use the content for Springster, as well as other activities of Girl Effect (for example, when we talk about our work with others).
There may be links to other websites and organizations on Springster. These rules will not apply to those websites and you should check the rules on each website when you access them, as we cannot be responsible for other organizations.
If you sign-up as a member (or “Springster” as we like to call you!), you will have a login and password. Keep this information secret as you do not want anyone else to log into Springster and pretend to be you! We expect you to be responsible for the activity of your membership.
We may ask your opinion in surveys. Please only participate if you want to, these surveys are not required. We do this in order to better understand how you use the site and to provide more useful content to you (and other users of Springster). We may share the results with others, but this will never include your personal information unless we have expressly told you otherwise.
We try our best to make sure Springster is safe to use, but we cannot guarantee that it is free from any computer viruses or destructive code. We will not be responsible for any damage to your mobile that may result from using Springster.
We want to keep Springster safe and available for all users. To help us, please do not try to hack Springster, infect the platform with a virus or do anything else which may damage Springster.
The name “Springster”, our great logo and the design of the platform is owned by Girl Effect. Please ask our permission before using any of these for any reason (other than using Springster).
Springster is intended for your personal use only. If you are a business, please do not use Springster, as the content is not intended for you and you do not have the right to use this information.
If at any time you break any of these rules, we may (among other actions) stop you from using Springster in the future.
